A dominating win at Wisconsin wasn't enough to lift the Nebraska volleyball team into the No. 1 spot in the AVCA poll released Monday.
The Huskers are ranked No. 2 behind Pittsburgh for the seventh week in a row. Nebraska is 22-1 (12-0 Big Ten), and Pittsburgh is 21-1 (11-1 ACC).
Wisconsin remained at No. 7 in the poll despite its 3-0 loss to Nebraska, which won in Madison for the first time since 2013.
Creighton checked in at No. 5, which is the highest the Bluejays have ever been in the poll.
This week's Top 10: Pittsburgh, Nebraska, Penn State, Louisville, Creighton, Stanford, Wisconsin, Kansas, Purdue and SMU.
The Huskers are 4-1 against teams ranked in the Top 10 this season, with wins against Creighton, Stanford and Louisville. Nebraska's only loss this season came to SMU.
Nebraska makes a West Coast trip this week — it will play Oregon at 9 p.m. on Thursday and Washington at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both matches will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
