The Nebraska football team has added another promising young defensive lineman out of the transfer portal.
Former Mississippi State defensive lineman Gabe Moore committed to Nebraska on Thursday following a visit to Lincoln.
A Mississippi native who was a three-star recruit in the Class of 2023, Moore did not appear in a game during his two seasons with the Bulldogs.
A redshirt campaign in 2023 was followed by Moore posting on social media in August 2024 that he would miss the season due to health issues.
A 6-foot-4, 290-pound defender with pass rushing and every down potential at defensive end, Moore’s addition marks Nebraska’s third along the defensive line. Williams Nwaneri and Jaylen George have also joined a position group which will look entirely different for Nebraska in 2025 following the offseason roster movement.
