It is time to stop pretending that Donald Trump does not mean what he says. He has said that the National Guard or the military should be used against "the enemy within."
He has called his political opponents "the enemy within." He has explicitly named Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, his former cabinet members who now oppose him and "the radical left." He has made it clear that those who disagree with him are "the radical left."
On Fox an interviewer tried to correct him by saying these are opponents, not enemies, but he said no, they are enemies. The "radical left" can be us, our children, our grandchildren, our neighbors who happen to go to the "wrong" political event, or post on social media. The Republican establishment is trying to say he is talking about "others." He is not. He is talking about us, American citizens who simply disagree with him. It is time to stop pretending!
