It's certainly apparent that Lincoln likes to consider itself the original blue dot, with the 2nd District in Omaha its junior. But when the Journal Star letters to the editor section becomes inundated with political views that are so repetitive, what's the point of continually printing the same perspectives? We are already drowning in a senate race between Dan Osborn and Deb Fischer.
You aren't going to change anyone's mind, so give us a break.
There are multiple wrongs in liberal land that are completely overlooked or maybe people accept those as "facts."
Every politician wants their party to rule. Do you really think Biden wanted to erase college loan debt for just the good of the country? Think young voters. How about wanting to pack the Supreme Court with more justices along with term limits?
If you really want a cause, how about Harris and Biden (assuming he's not on the beach) think about ways to lower home insurance. Recent hurricane disasters will likely become overpowering to homeowners, even to those of us in landlocked Nebraska. Nebraska has the second highest insurance rates in the country. If Kamala Harris can propose a $25,000, first-time homeowners down payment and support, maybe the same could be applied to the middle class home insurance costs.
