With one week remaining until Election Day, Secretary of State Bob Evnen reminded voters on Tuesday to cast their early voting ballots or find their polling place if voting at the polls.
Election Day is Nov. 5.
“This is the opportunity for Nebraskans to weigh in on the presidential race, several ballot measures and local issues,” Evnen said. “County election offices are working hard to prepare polling places and assist voters. Our election officials and poll workers are ready to help Nebraska voters cast their ballots securely and independently.”
As of Tuesday morning, county election offices have sent 363,629 early voting ballots to Nebraska voters. County election offices have received and accepted 249,235 early voting ballots. That includes 46,459 early ballots from Nebraskans who have voted early in person at county election offices.

In Lancaster County through Monday, the Election Commission had received about 47,000 of the 60,000 early vote ballots it has issued.
Election Commissioner Todd Wiltgen said voters should not mail ballots after Tuesday to ensure they arrive in time.
Voters have until the close of polls at 8 p.m. CT on Election Day to return their early voting ballots to their county election offices or to secure ballot drop boxes. Early ballots cannot be returned at polling sites on Election Day.
Voters should remember to sign their early voting ballot envelopes. Early voting ballots will not be accepted after 8 p.m. regardless of the postmark date.
