The Lincoln Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Thursday morning in south Lincoln.
At about 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a residence near 40th Street and Old Cheney Road on reports of gunshots, police say.Â
A 38-year-old man was inside the residence and contacted police after he heard three gunshots, LPD Spokesperson Erika Thomas said.Â
Police found at least nine bullet holes across the home, including in the bedroom, front door and living room.
Thomas said officers also discovered an unspent casing on the street in front of the home.
No one was injured in the shooting.
