A 40-year-old Lincoln woman is in jail after police say they found more than 140 grams of meth, an assortment of prescription pills and about $9,000 in her car at a traffic stop Friday.
Investigators said they received information Joy Bradford had been selling large quantities of meth in Lincoln and would be in the 5900 block of Havelock Avenue Friday night with multiple ounces of meth in a black 2007 BMW, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Officers surveilled the area and stopped Bradford in the 5900 block of Ballard Avenue after she failed to signal a turn around 9 p.m.
When grabbing her driver’s license, officers noticed a folding knife in her purse and a blue solo cup with four clear bags of suspected meth on the passenger’s seat, according to the affidavit.
A search of her car turned up four additional bags of meth, $9,072 in numerous bundles, a digital scale with residue, a notebook of “owe†notes, a large number of mid-sized baggies, two morphine pills, four Lorazepam pills, five Tramadol pills and two hydrocodone pills packed in plastic bags, documents say.

Police believe Bradford had about 1,275 user amounts of meth.
During a consented search of her apartment, officers found $11,720.
Bradford was arrested on suspicion of possession of more than 140 grams of meth with intent to deliver and possession of drug money.Â
