Visa plans to launch a new account-to-account payment service in 2025, allowing users to bypass credit cards for direct bank transfers. The service will initially roll out in the UK, with future expansion into Nordic and European markets. Users can easily set up and manage recurring payments through merchants' e-commerce stores and monitor transactions via their banking apps. The system enhances consumer protection and simplifies resolving unauthorized payments.
