Rounding up the reaction to Wan'Dale Robinson's transfer announcement
Husker players and fans alike are taking to social media following Wan'Dale Robinson's announcement that he's transferring.
Omar Manning, Nebraska WR
That’s tough
— “BOOBIE” (@TheOmarManning)
Tony Butler, former Nebraska DB
When two of your best WRs transfer back to back years it’s time to look in the mirror as a program. Just saying...

— Alante Brown (@alantebrown3)
Collin Miller, former Nebraska LB
All I see now on twitter is players who haven’t done a damn thing on the field or inside the weight room with their brothers.. talk the most talk. Stop tweeting for favorites and get to WORK!
— Collin Miller (@C_millz31)
Thomas Fidone, Nebraska signee
It’s all just gunna make the come up taste even sweeter 😁!

Hate to see Wan'Dale Robinson go, but he played his guts out over the last few years and was an excellent representative for the program. He gave everything he had.
— Dan Hoppen (@danhoppen)
Thanks for the two years, Wan'Dale. Best of luck in whatever's next.
@Skersvikesfan06
What a tough blow for us, but family is more important than football and I respect him for deciding to go closer to home. At least it hasn’t been all bad news today we might have found a somewhat replacement for WanDale.
— Nick Larson (@Skersvikesfan06)
@kodysalz
Wan'dale is an amazing athlete. I wish him the best. Any honest Husker fan knows in their heart we asked him to be everything, and didn't get him a lot of opportunities to show his skills in open field. It sucks. I wish it wasn't so, but I understand it.

@mellowmitchh
Really hard to feel any level of confidence in Nebraska with Wandale leaving. I’m usually optimistic even at the lowest points but this sure feels like rock bottom
— Graduate Mitch (@mellowmitchh)
@HuskerRoz22
I hate to see Wandale leave but I can see how it could be frustrating. For 3 years we’ve heard about up and coming talent but for w/e reason we never see those names get meaningful snaps on game-day. Until that changes we will continue to see talent leave
— Zroz (@HuskerRoz22)
@NateBeckman65
Loads of respect for Wandale! Gotta appreciate a young man wanting to take care of his mother!!

@evolutionof56
Wishing WanDale nothing but the best. He gave everything he had during his time as a Husker. Perhaps if we would've featured him more appropriately in our offense he'd be staying. Wherever he lands, I'm willing to bet he's seen his last between the tackle goalline carry.

@wyattnun16
I can’t blame him for the decision because family always comes first, but man does it hurt nonetheless. Good luck Wan’Dale. Thanks for everything 🎈

@d_lincs
It really sucks losing Wan’Dale, he’s such a great player and teammate, but I truly wish him and his family the best. The last year has really given us all some perspective on the things that matter most and I completely understand him wanting to be closer to family. GBR.
— Dom Lincoln (@d_lincs)
@andrewnyce
This is the rock bottom lowest point of the 20 year slide, I'm actually sad.
— Andrew Nyce (@andrewnyce)
@grantgaither
SUCH a bummer to lose a guy like this. Wan'Dale is a top notch player through and through. Can't blame a guy for wanting to be close to family after a year like this. Wish nothing but the best for him and his family. will always root for you!

My 10 year old son who is a big husker fan was in tears today when I told him about Wandale transferring. Wandale was his favorite player. He said that they stunk with him here, what’s going to happen next year. “Good question son”
