Bellevue East 6, Elkhorn South 5: Haley DeMontel hit a three-run, go-ahead home run in the top of the seventh to lift the Chieftains to a hard-fought win.

Lincoln Southwest 10, Millard West 2: Vivian Mares-Chippeaux blasted a grand slam, Emma Dostal homered as part of a three-hit day and the Silver Hawks won their first elimination game of the day.
Papillion-La Vista 4, Bellevue East 3: The quest for title No. 18 is alive for at least one more game after Elli Ridgley hit a two-run, go-ahead single in the bottom of the sixth.

Gretna 5, Lincoln Southwest 0: Dragons starting pitcher Alexis Jensen was as dominant as ever, throwing a complete-game shutout. She allowed just one hit and struck out 14.
Millard North 8, Papillion-La Vista 0: Abby Beard sent the Mustangs to the state championship by blasting three home runs.Â

GI Northwest 12, Scottsbluff 4: Libby Loman's three-run home run ended the game in the sixth inning.
Gretna East 5, Seward 4:Â Amelia Fliege hit a walk-on single to lift the Griffins into the afternoon slate.

Blair 6, GI Northwest 3: There will be a new champion in Class B after Bears pitcher Brooke Janning struck out 16 batters to oust the two-time defending champion Vikings.
Lincoln Pius X 16, Gretna East 3: The Bolts are hanging around as the No. 8 seed, as Kendal Heimes hit two homers to fuel a big Bolts' day.

Hastings 10, Blair 5:Â The Tigers clinched the first state final berth in Class B behind a fifth-inning grad slam from Ella Tinsman and a homer from Madi Wenzl.
Beatrice 7, Lincoln Pius X 0:Â Tana Antons finished with two hits, three RBIs and a homer and Layla Boyko spun a complete-game, 14-strikeout shutout to send the Lady Orange to the state championship game.

Early elimination gamesÂ
Ashland-Greenwood 8, NEN 4:Â The Bluejays broke the game open with a four-run sixth, a rally fueled by RBI hits from Sofia Dill, Joslyn Sargent, Ellie Milburn and Reese Fisher.
Fort Calhoun 10, Aquinas 0:Â Fort Calhoun scored in all four innings, and pitcher Anna Taylor took it from there, throwing a one-hitter.
Elimination games
Ashland-Greenwood 16, Hastings SC 12:Â This slugfest had 33 hits and seven homers. Ashland-Greenwood's Sofia Dill hit two homers, as did Hastings SC's Madison Bauer.
Fort Calhoun 6, Guardian Angels CC 3: Fort Calhoun won the biggest game of its season despite committing more errors (seven) than runs scored (six). Izabelle Greenough had two doubles and two RBIs.
Bracket championships
DC West 12, Fort Calhoun 3: The Falcons bats stayed hot, paced by a four-hit, five-RBI performance from Mae Mae Zach. It's the school's first appearance in the state championship game.
Bishop Neumann 13, Ashland-Greenwood 3: The Cavaliers scored in five straight innings — including five in the third and sixth innings — to knock out the reigning champions. Ana Fisher and Bridget Whitney both hit two homers and drove in four.
