What went right: Aaron Takacs went 4-for-4 at the plate, Drew Devine finished with four RBIs and the Lincoln Saltdogs slugged 16 hits in a dominant victory over Chicago at Impact Field in Rosemont, Illinois.
The Saltdogs scored twice in the top of the second inning and never trailed, breaking the game open with a five-run seventh inning. The Saltdogs scored eight of their 12 runs over the final four innings, including home runs from Dakota Conners and Zane Zurbrugg.

Lincoln's pitching allowed eight hits and struck out six between five different arms. Pablo Arevalo earned his third win of the season in three innings of relief. Lincoln also snapped a seven-game losing streak with the victory.
What went wrong: Chicago scored one run, unearned, in the bottom of the second inning and mustered eight hits. Despite Lincoln recording 16 hits, Logan Williams went 0-for-5 at the plate as the only Saltdog that failed to record a base knock.
