Donald Trump intends to win the 2024 presidential election for three reasons: 1) legal accountability; 2) power; 3) money.
All the other talk, commercials, rallies and social media posts are simply distractions and distortions from his actual goals. Let me expand:
1) As president, all of Mr. Trump's legal entanglements disappear. If he loses, as a convicted felon, he's back in court and possibly going to jail.
2) Mr. Trump and his allies plan to expand the power of the presidency into a permanent dictatorship. They are prepared to invoke Project 2025, a MAGA playbook designed to rid the U.S. of democratic principles, such as Constitutional rights, like meaningful voting. If you have doubts, Google 25andme for summaries of this plan and how it will affect all citizens. If you don't already fear Donald Trump, you will.

3) Mr. Trump cannot accumulate enough money. His words, not mine. He views the U.S. as a subsidiary of the Trump organization, whose purpose is to make him wealthier. If he wins, the rich will get more tax cuts, and the rest of us will struggle.
Mr. Trump is almost 80 years old and he is not the person he was 9 years ago.
This election will determine the future freedoms of every American, their children, and their grandchildren. The U.S. is still a free country, at least for now.
