Hannah Huston’s “The Voice†coach was on his feet throughout her performance of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep†and encouraged the audience to do the same in Monday’s latest live round of the NBC hit.
“I just have to say, in my humble assessment, that was 1,000 percent amazing,†said hip-hop artist Pharrell Williams, who the Arnold Elementary School preschool teacher picked as her coach after turning three chairs in the blind auditions at the start of the show’s 10th season.
Huston, 25, was the fourth performer in the episode, which began with an appearance by First Lady Michelle Obama and Jill Biden.
They appeared in celebration of the fifth anniversary of their Joining Forces initiative, which raises awareness for the need to support service members, veterans and their families. The audience was filled with active duty and retired service members and military families.

After Huston's performance Williams called it “so sick that everyone in here was standing up as they are about to do right now†-- which they did. And once again he appealed to America to “vote this amazing girl through.â€
Viewers can vote until 11 a.m. Tuesday for their favorite performer by going to "The Voice" website, Facebook page or mobile app or downloading the songs on iTunes.
The results will be announced on Tuesday night’s show.
Coach Adam Levine called Huston's performance 99 percent amazing and said he’d been a fan of hers since the beginning.
His only criticism was her “sliding up into the first note of the chorus,†but said that was largely because he’s so hung up on the original version.
In a nod to Mother’s Day, several performers talked about their mothers and Huston said hers is an excellent singer.
“She’s been here every single week,†Huston said. “She’s my best friend.â€
Huston noted the care it required to sing an Adele song “because she’s magnificent.â€
Like Adele, Huston is unapologetic about who she is, Williams said.
“Hannah’s honestly, just sunshine.â€
