The Lincoln Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a 30-year-old woman last heard from more than two weeks ago.

LPD investigators need help locating Jerica Hamre, whose disappearance has been deemed suspicious, according to a police Facebook post.Â
Officers have conducted interviews and examined digital evidence, but more aid is needed to find Hamre, the department said in the post.
She was last seen at her home in the 3500 block of Huntington Avenue in Lincoln on June 25, and a family member reported her missing to police on July 3.
Investigators believe Hamre's disappearance is suspicious because those close to her have not heard from her, and she missed a scheduled visit with her children.

LPD spokesperson Erika Thomas said Hamre was assaulted on June 22 and it was reported on June 24, day before she was last heard from. Police were aware she was assaulted and spoke to those involved in the assault, but Hamre did not wish to proceed with any charges, Thomas said.
