The charges against a 31-year-old man accused of injuring a woman in a June shooting were dropped Wednesday in Lancaster County Court, according to documents.
Victor Gonzales has since been released from jail, records show.
The shooting was reported June 26 at an apartment in the 1700 block of L Street. Residents told police they heard a knock on the door about 9 p.m. A man answered the door and talked to two men who asked for a woman inside, police said.

The man said she wouldn't come outside and closed the door, and one of the two outside fired six shots into it, police said.
Another woman who was in the apartment was hit in the toe but refused medical treatment.
Police said when they arrested Gonzales that they hadn't determined if he was the shooter and said they were looking for one other man.
