A 24-year-old Lincoln man kept law enforcement officers at bay during a brief standoff in Air Park Wednesday morning before giving himself up, the Lancaster County chief deputy sheriff said.
Members of the Lancaster County Metro Fugitive Task Force went to 5124 W. Vance Road to arrest 24-year-old Derek Bohaty and 23-year-old Amber Grant because they had felony warrants for their arrest, Chief Deputy Jeff Bliemeister said.

They determined both were at the house and apprehended Grant at 10:25 a.m. when she was outside, Bliemeister said.
But Bohaty refused to come out of the house, he said. Task force members hailed the sheriff’s SWAT team and surrounded the house.
At 11:07 a.m., Bohaty came out and gave up, Bliemeister said, adding that investigators learned he’d been hiding in the attic.
