Rescue workers swarmed the medium/maximum security prison after a group of inmates refused to leave an isolated yard on the prison grounds and return to their cells shortly after 6 p.m., said prison spokeswoman Tammy Kluver. One inmate hit a staffer and others followed, assaulting several corrections officers and caseworkers before being restrained.
