I've got a couple of more restaurant closings to report.
The Perkins near the Lincoln Airport has closed its doors. A sign on the door Thursday said the location was "permanently closed."
The airport Perkins has been there since at least the 1980s. Its closing leaves the Perkins at 48th and O streets as the only one in Lincoln.
Another restaurant that has closed is Wahoo's Fish Taco at 14th and P streets.
The restaurant has had a sign up for several weeks that says it's closed for the holidays, and Friday afternoon I got an email from the local franchise owner.
"I’m sorry to say that after six wonderful years in Lincoln we have decided to close our doors," James Prince said in an email. "We would like to thank all of people of Lincoln and University for their support. We are attempting to find a new operator/franchisee to take our location."
