Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is planning its third Lincoln location, this time on the north side of town.
The restaurant chain says on its website that a location at 27th Street and Cornhusker Highway is "coming soon." The site is in front of Home Depot and next to PepperJax Grill.
Freddy's opened its first Lincoln location at 48th and Van Dorn streets in December 2015 and followed up with its second at 30th Street and Yankee Hill Road in December 2016.
The same franchisee that owns the Lincoln restaurants also is planning a location in Kearney.
