Two new members join Nebraska Community Foundation Board

Nebraska Community Foundation鈥檚
(NCF) Board of Directors recently
welcomed two new members. Ann
Bruntz of Friend and Lisa Smith
of Lincoln join this prestigious
group working to build stronger
communities and a Greater
Nebraska.
Ann Bruntz lives in Friend where
she and her spouse, David, live as
agriculturists. Bruntz grew up on
a ranch near Stuart and earned a
degree in Veterinary Technology
from the Nebraska College of
Technical Agriculture. She worked in
multiple roles throughout her career,
the last being Senior Development
Officer at the University of Nebraska
Foundation for the Institute of
Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Finance. Upon graduation, Smith
spent 14 years in the banking
industry in various capacities. Lisa
also assisted in the start-up and
development of the private banking
division of a regional bank, assisting
high-net-worth individuals with
an array of financial services. Lisa
moved into the wealth management
industry in 1999 and is currently
Senior Vice President/Financial
Advisor/Portfolio Manager with DA
Davidson.
Lisa is involved in several community
Bruntz has been an Ambassador for
boards, including TeamMates of
Women of the Midwest for the last
Nebraska, Joslyn Art Museum in
eight years, leading journeys both
Omaha, BraveBe Child Advocacy
domestic and International.
Center in Lincoln, the University
Lisa Smith, a native of Lincoln, of Nebraska Foundation, and the
graduated in 1990 from the UNL College of Business Advisory
University of Nebraska-Lincoln with Board. Lisa is a co-founder of
a Bachelor of Science degree in Women Investing in Nebraska, an
organization which brings Nebraska
women together to give back to
initiatives across the state.
